Who I AM
My name is Nicole (“Nikki”) Lewis and I am a fractional CMO, investor, and advisor. I am a full-stack marketing leader with a 20-year track record in entertainment and digital media. My expertise lies in co-creating and scaling global brands by fostering deeply engaged communities across global Gen Z, resulting in multi-million dollar returns.
Adept at both building teams and crafting winning full-stack marketing approaches, I have led marketing for brands such as League of Legends, Wolfenstein, Rock Band, Dance Central, early Fortnite, Unreal Engine, and VALORANT. As an executive at Epic Games and Riot Games, I played pivotal roles in defining company-wide marketing approaches and launching first-of-its-kind campaigns and initiatives.
What I focus on
I help businesses by identifying product market fit, fostering deep understanding of target audiences, crafting brand strategies to attract those audiences, and developing 360-degree go-to-market campaigns that take advantage of brand marketing, performance marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, and the Creator ecosystem.
My marketing practice infuses global urban and nerdcore culture into brand identity. Committed to infusing diversity into both how I lead and how I market, I leverage inclusivity not only to gain a market advantage for my clients but also to assemble world-class teams.
My ability to foster authentic connections between brands and audiences has led to breakout successes in the video game industry, including K/DA: a fictitious KPop band from League of Legends that skyrocketed to the top of the Kpop charts, got half a billion YouTube views, and drove Riot’s highest revenue day to date; and VALORANT, whose “unapologetically global” brand strategy and integrated go-to-market operation led to a billion in revenue in under 14 months. My work has been recognized in ADWEEK's “50 Most Indispensable Marketers 2022”, as well as by a number of CLIO awards in 2022 and 2023.
My current portfolio includes fractional CMO, consulting, and advisory work for a diverse portfolio of series A/B startups and other young companies at the intersections of technology, wellness, and entertainment.
Where I cOme from
An East Harlem native who splits time between the Bay Area and NYC, I am a graduate of Wesleyan University and the UCLA Anderson School of Management. I enjoy singing jazz standards, writing sci-fi, and eating fusion tacos.
